Privacy policy
How we handle your data on this website.
1. Controller
Responsible for data processing on this website: Helge Barthel, Fasanenweg 1, 22955 Hoisdorf, Germany (see Legal notice). Contact: info@mfangano-air.com.
2. Server log files
When you visit this website, the web server automatically stores: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, referring page, browser and operating system. This data is used for the secure and stable operation of the website and to defend against attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted automatically on a rolling basis.
3. Visitor statistics
To see how many people use this website, we evaluate the server log files on our own server. Our own evaluation shortens IP addresses before it counts them; the result contains only totals (visits, pages, days, browsers and devices). In addition, the server administration software (Plesk) creates monthly web statistics (AWStats) from the same log files; these reports are only accessible to the operator. No cookies and no external services are used for this. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interest in improving the website.
4. Search
The search on this website runs entirely in your browser. Your search terms are not sent to us or to anyone else.
5. Fonts and images
All fonts and images are loaded from this server. We do not use external services such as font or map providers on this website.
6. Cookies
See the Cookie policy.
7. E-mail contact and applications
If you write to us – for example to register your interest, to ask for a quote or to apply for a job – we use your details only to answer and handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed.
8. External links
Links to other websites (for example mfangano.com, Kensafari, Kenorbit) lead to offers for which their operators are responsible. Data is only transferred when you click such a link.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR) and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). For visitors in Kenya, the Data Protection Act 2019 applies in addition.
